52 Weeks of Instax

I just wanted to share a project another blogger is doing that I think is quite relevant to this blog!

The Dainty Squid is doing 52 weeks of Instax photos, one photo per week for a year — easier (and cheaper!) than Project 365, so perfect for instant photos. So, have a look and join in if you’re interested! (And maybe, on the way, you can send one of them along to this blog!)

Updates!

Happy new year!

I know it’s been awhile, but I haven’t received any photos in a long time. I’ve been trying to encourage others to participate, but obviously.. well.. I suck!

But, it’s a new year and I’m really eager to get this moving! So, with that said, I would like to offer something in return for your help. If you can’t send me an instant photo, can you spread the word?

If you spread the word about this blog, I will send you something small, but fun in the mail. (Everyone loves mail and that’s what this is all about, right?) Maybe something like.. notecards or stickers or something else like that.

You can spread the word by writing a blog entry about this blog, make sure you link to it! Then come back here and give me the link so that I can 1.) see it and 2.) get your address from you to thank you! You can even use the little button that I have provided on the sidebar. —>

Greenvale, NY

Here is another photo from Emily, taken in Greenvale, NY on an Instax 210. She says, “there are lots of things on my bookshelf”. Among them are film, cereal, tea, chocolate, dishes and books, including college textbooks.

Emily says, “I am an intercollegiate horseback rider. I placed 2nd in a jumping class this past weekend.”

These beautyberries are from Hazel in Orlando, Florida.

She says, “These are purple beautyberries that grow in my backyard. It’s a native plant to the southeastern US.”
